Pro Mod Qualifying Notes, Session #3

NORWALK, Ohio - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Mod at the American Drag Racing League, ADRL Summit Racing Equipment Ohio Drags VI presented by Mickey Thompson listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Tim Tindle Runs 4.227/174.46, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.730/118.97, Was #11
Right Lane: Matt Guenther Runs 7.248/88.17, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.136/102.03, Was #14

6:41 p.m. Larry Higginbottham is on the bump spot at 4.173.

Tindle had to pedal to get through shake. Guenther shook hard and lifted.

Left Lane: Adam Flamholc Runs 5.616/85.59, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.934/189.79, Was #1
Right Lane: Larry Higginbottham Runs 4.108/176.12, Now #6; Best prior run: 4.173/172.94, Was #8

Flamholc shook and lifted. Higginbottham made another nice run to move off the bump spot, putting points-leader Jeff Naiser on the bibble at 4.163.

Left Lane: Pat Musi Runs 6.792/71.22, Now #12; Best prior run: 5.103/98.57, Was #12
Right Lane: Dave Roemer Runs 13.795/28.74, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.211/156.70, Was #9

Massive shake in both lanes.

Left Lane: Jeffrey Cummins Jr Runs 3.975/187.65, Now #3; Best prior run: 4.013/187.60, Was #3
Right Lane: Monroe Guest Runs 4.091/181.84, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.031/184.98, Was #4

Cummins gets into the htrees, stays third. No improvement for Guest.

Left Lane: Todd Tutterow Runs 4.886/140.36, Now #5; Best prior run: 4.040/195.62, Was #5
Right Lane: David Hance Runs 4.799/146.02, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.663/146.16, Was #11

Both cars chattered the tires and both drivers had to lift to tame things down.

Left Lane: Raymond Matos Runs 3.910/187.52, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.970/187.99, Was #2
Right Lane: Keith Haney Runs 5.874/114.51, Now #13; Best prior run: 5.466/117.21, Was #13

Haney shook and got sideways on the launch. Matos made it look easy, going to #1 by a couple hundredths.

Left Lane: Dan Stevenson Runs 4.111/155.22, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.139/163.00, Was #7
Right Lane: Jeff Naiser Runs 3.986/187.13, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.163/183.94, Was #8

Both improved, but Naiser moved into the top half and appears safely qualified. Stevenson's improvement was not enough to move him up and he replaced Naiser on the bump spot.
