K&N Filters Horsepower Challenge award ($3,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Pro Stock) -
Erica Enders, New Orleans, ZaZa Energy Chevy Cobalt, 6.553 seconds, 211.69 mph.
Best Engineered Vehicle - Sal Biondo, Competition Eliminator entry, Maspeth, N.Y.
NHRA Best Appearing Car - Melanie Troxel, In-N-Out Burger Toyota Camry Funny Car entry,
NHRA Best Appearing Crew - Sean Bellmeur crew, Top Alcohol Funny Car entry, Tustin, Calif.
Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew Award ($3,000 each to Top Fuel and Funny Car, $1,500 to Pro
Stock and $750 to Pro Stock Motorcycle for the crews that are recognized as the hardest working of
Top Fuel: Lucas Racing for getting both cars in the final round after both experienced
explosions early in eliminations.
Funny Car: Robert Hight crew for working hard in the offseason and making it to the finals
after going 196 days since their last round win (Brainerd 2010).
Pro Stock: Jason Line and the KB Racing crew for recovering from both a transporter fire and
back surgery in the off season to make the final round at the season-opening Kragen O'Reilly Auto
Parts NHRA Winternationals.
