GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The Second Annual "Ohio Crankshaft No Box Nationals" is now officially back on the schedule for 2009. This big money No Box race is scheduled to take place June 12th - 14th 2009 in Kokomo, Indiana.
The continuing sponsorship between Ohio Crankshaft and Triple O Promotions became official at the end of November. Stan and Scott Ray, from Ohio Crankshaft, are excited to continue being the official sponsor of the race.
Allyn Neff, Triple O Promotions, said, "I am excited to build this race up bigger and better this year. We have some new ideas to bring to the table for all different types of no box racers."
VP Racing Fuels has also come back on board to be an associate sponsor of the No Box Nationals. Along with product give-away's for the finalists each day of the Main Event, they are also going to sponsor a "Run For The Drum" to be contested each day during the last time trial. Tom Spain, Regional Manager for VP Racing Fuels - Midwest, believes this is a great opportunity for the racers.
This race is a great opportunity for all no box racers who want to race for more than a typical payout. Greg Dillman, Triple O Promotions, said, "We want to see races that are practical and affordable for no box racers and that have a higher purse." It is going to be held at Bunkerhill Drag Strip in Kokomo, Indiana. The race is scheduled to take place on June 13th and 14th 2009. There will also be a Test & Tune and 'Gamblers Race' on Friday June 12th. The Test & Tune is free for all pre-entered competitors. The pre-entry for both Saturday and Sunday is only $75.00 to reserve your spot and then $150 at the gate.
In addition to sponsoring a great race; Ohio Crankshaft and VP Racing Fuel currently have several specials on some great products. You can look for those specials at www.ohiocrank.com and www.vpracingfuels.com.
