LAS VEGAS - 3:15 p.m. - She's Baack!

Mother Nature, that is.

Rain stayed over the mountains for a long time, but finally got here around 3 p.m., just as the Thunderbirds were wrapping up their show acrtoss the street at Nellis AFB and the second pair of Competition Eliminator cars was preparing to make their burnouts.

The rain was initially light, but eventually turned into another round of hard rain.

The cars have been sent back to the pits and the track will have to be dried again once the rain stops.

Stay tuned, we will be here until the race is completed.
