Within its ongoing efforts to support Canada's drag racing scene, DragRaceCanada is pleased to
announce its third annual "Canadian Drag Racer of the Year" awards program designed to recognize
the top achieving Canadian drag racers this past 2006 racing season.
The 2006 DragRaceCanada "Drag Racer of the Year" awards program will honor four Canadians; one
Professional Pro driver, one Sportsman driver, one Crew chief/Tuner as well as the Most
Improved/Up-And-Coming drag racer.
Covering all forms of drag racing but limited to Canadian drag racers only, the on-line ballot
opened on Jan. 1st, 2007 and will close at 23:59 on Jan. 31stt, 2007. After the polls close
and the audit is completed the four winners will be announced. They will receive on-line
recognition as well as a handsome commemorative "NitroMoose" trophy sculpture supplied by
DragRaceCanada co-presenting sponsor Eaton Electrical.
Each on-line ballot includes four nominees from last season but the voting also accommodates for
"write-in" options. Only one vote per e-mail address will be afforded and strictly monitored.
