Minutes before this race started, we received word that Bruce Litton had been examined and released from Brooks Army Medical Center and was on his way back to the track.

Millican had a single run to the Top Fuel division win and he did not take it easy. He came through with his second-quickest and second fastest pass of the weekend on his way to his first Top Fuel win of the season.
