GRAND BEND, Ont. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Torco Race Fuels Pro Stock at the 2005 Hooters IHRA Drag Racing Series, Sixth annual Mopar Canadian Nationals presented by Castrol:

DeMory had a slightly better light, but his car steadily drifted to the right and he lost ground all the way down the track.

Berner had the front end up and the rear of the car wagging back and forth on the launch, while Patrick went right down the groove.

Spiess flinched and Kirk now has two round wins this year, but he lost lane choice to Seamon in the semifinals.

Gugliotta's car took dead aim on the 330-foot timing marker and he had to lift to get the front end down and steer away from the line. By then, Gillig was long gone. Gillig faces Patrick in the semifinals and Patrick has lane choice, by 0.014 seconds.
