DINWIDDIE, Va. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Mopar Parts Pro Modified at the Hooters IHRA Drag Racing Series, 2nd annual ACDelco Nationals presented by Chevrolet:

5:21 PM -- Air temperature is 93 degrees at 44 percent humidity. The barometer was 29.67 and falling. Patterson was all over the race race track but somehow managed to stay in the run and keep it close.

Hoover's tires chattered hard as he came out of the gate so he just shut it down. Janis looked good but his car started smoking at the end of the track. Janis will get lane choice over Billes in round three.

Vick took a hard right turn as soon as he took the light so he had to shut it down early. Hahn had a strong run that was quickest ET of the round with one more pair left to go.

Martin had problems and just shut it down. Hahn and Jenkins will face each other in round three. They had identical ETs but Hahn gets lane choice on the basis of speed.
