PRO National Warmup Set for January 24 - 27 in Tucson

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Professional Racers Owners Organization (PRO) has confirmed its annual PRO National Warmup to be held Thursday through Sunday, January 24 - 27, 2002 at Southwestern International Raceway (SIR) in Tucson, Arizona.

PRO member Top Fuel, Funny car and Pro Stock teams will be able to test for four days on one of the sport's finest racing surfaces at no charge. Non-member teams are invited to test and should contact PRO at 317-280-1320 for non-member testing fees. NHRA sportsman teams are also invited and should contact SIR at 520-762-9700 for testing fees and event information.

The PRO National Warmup is open to the public Friday through Sunday, January 25 - 27 and promises fans a sneak peek at the new cars, new colors and new equipment of drag racing's biggest stars as they prepare for the 2002 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series opener, February 7 - 10 in Pomona, California.
