DALLAS - Top Fuel Round 2 Eliminations

ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the 16th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec:

Herbert with the slight starting line advantage, but Bernstein has that made up by 100 feet and blast on through to take the win and put the pressure on Dixon. Herbert with a puff of smoke as he crossed the finish line.

Kalitta with an 0.860 60-foot time and kept the candles lit and the Goodyears stuck to move into the semi-finals. Cowin blistered the hides around 200 feet.

Lampus with the starting line advantage and then started mixing up the cylinders around the 330-foot mark. Just before half track there was a big engine explosion with a huge fireball trailing him through the 1320. Dunn with a conservative safe pass getting from A to B with no problems. Dunn will give up lane choice to Kalitta in the semi-finals.

Dixon was sharp on the tree and never looked back with the quickest pass of the weekend. He will have lane choice over Bernstein in the semi-finals. Scelzi was up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle.
