DALLAS - Pro Stock Truck Qualifying Notes, Final Session

ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock Truck at the 16th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:


Left Lane: Jody Schmeisser Runs 7.610/176.95, Now #26; Best prior run: 7.592/177.30, Was #26
Right Lane: Bob Yonke Runs 7.601/177.72, Now #25; Best prior run: 7.582/178.35, Was #25

3:14 PM No help for these two and neither will be in the show tomorrow.

Left Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 7.590/178.89, Now #24; Best prior run: 7.561/178.64, Was #24
Right Lane: Craig Eaton Runs 11.279/82.02, Now #23; Best prior run: 7.555/180.43, Was #23

Eaton starts shaking the tires about 200 feet out and gives up on the run.

Left Lane: Kim Smith Runs 7.547/179.10, Now #22; Best prior run: 7.546/178.60, Was #22
Right Lane: Rick Brown Runs 7.564/178.28, Now #20; Best prior run: 7.541/178.67, Was #20

The temp has gone up since the earlier round and everyone seems to be slowing.

Left Lane: Scott Perin Runs 7.577/179.60, Now #21; Best prior run: 7.542/179.74, Was #21
Right Lane: Steven Farr Runs 7.558/178.96, Now #19; Best prior run: 7.523/179.35, Was #19



Left Lane: Dale Eaton Runs 7.543/179.82, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.523/179.92, Was #18
Right Lane: Jerry Haas Runs 7.516/179.35, Now #17; Best prior run: 7.515/179.74, Was #17

Haas runs close to his earlier run but can't improve and doesn't make it in. The field is now set, every truck that isn't in has already run this round.

Left Lane: Lou Ficco Runs 7.556/179.71, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.513/179.56, Was #16
Right Lane: Randy Daniels Runs 7.500/180.07, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.492/180.07, Was #13



Left Lane: Jeff Naiser Runs 7.510/179.78, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.507/179.67, Was #15
Right Lane: Bart Price Runs 9.684/97.64, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.488/180.97, Was #11

Price gets out of shape and shuts down a little past half-track.

Still no improvements....every truck that has run has slowed from the earlier session today.

Left Lane: Mike Coughlin Runs 7.497/180.54, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.484/179.96, Was #7
Right Lane: Scott Tidwell Runs 7.498/180.18, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.468/181.12, Was #3



Left Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 7.478/181.01, Now #5; Best prior run: 7.471/181.45, Was #5
Right Lane: Don Smith Runs 7.517/180.18, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.467/181.41, Was #2

Good run for Stanfield, the quickest so far this round, but he doesn't improve and stays in the fifth spot.

Left Lane: Bob Panella Jr Runs 7.473/181.19, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.470/180.57, Was #4
Right Lane: John Lingenfelter Runs 7.469/180.68, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.458/181.15, Was #1

This run closest out the final session for the trucks. The order stays the same as it was earlier, no driver improving from the earlier runs.
