DALLAS - Pro Stock Qualifying Notes, Final Session

ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock at the 16th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:


Left Lane: Ed Heck Runs 10.130/90.31, Now #30; Best prior run: 7.139/193.54, Was #30
Right Lane: Mark Pawuk Runs 6.940/198.58, Now #22; Best prior run: 7.020/195.52, Was #29

From watching the trucks, it doesn't look good for those guys not in the show. Heck with problems early in the run and clicks it off. Pawuk with his best pass of the weekend and it is in the wrong session. This pass in any other session would of probably put him in the show.

Left Lane: Eric Shelton Runs 25.036/28.82, Now #29; Best prior run: 7.016/196.33, Was #29
Right Lane: Tom Lee Runs 7.057/196.29, Now #27; Best prior run: 7.004/197.88, Was #27

Shelton launched and then shut off and coasted on through the quarter mile. Lee with his next to worst pass here and will not make the show.

Left Lane: Mike Thomas Runs 9.695/95.38, Now #28; Best prior run: 7.012/197.19, Was #28
Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 7.000/198.36, Now #26; Best prior run: 7.001/198.58, Was #26

Johnson with his quickest pass of the weekend, but falls short of making the show.

Left Lane: Kenny Koretsky Runs 6.945/198.41, Now #23; Best prior run: 6.965/198.63, Was #24
Right Lane: Arturo Delgado Runs 7.038/196.33, Now #25; Best prior run: 6.966/197.23, Was #25

Koretsky with his best pass of the weekend, but will not make the show.

Left Lane: John Nobile Runs 6.949/199.95, Now #24; Best prior run: 6.953/199.55, Was #24
Right Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.950/198.10, Now #21; Best prior run: 6.936/198.58, Was #21

Nobile with his quickest pass of the weekend.

Left Lane: Rickie Smith Runs 6.947/199.73, Now #20; Best prior run: 6.935/198.57, Was #20
Right Lane: Brad Jeter Runs 6.930/199.29, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.914/200.04, Was #16

No help for either of these two.

Hurley with problems early in the run and clicked it off.

Right Lane: Jim Yates Runs 6.897/200.00, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.877/200.62, Was #2

yate has had the quickest car today in both rounds, but Edwards holds on to the number one spot and he will face Jeter in round one.
