Left Lane: John Nobile Runs 7.048/194.66, Now #17; Best prior run: 13.242/63.79, Was #30
The sun is starting to set and the temperature is still in the low 80s with the humidity at 29% and the barometer at 29.99 inches.
Nobile launched with a lot of tire shake and still just missed the field.
Left Lane: Mike Thomas Runs 7.036/195.70, Now #14; Best prior run: 8.890/105.08, Was #30
Right Lane: John Fairleigh Runs 10.040/91.13, Now #31; No Prior Run
Thomas gets in for now this pass bumping out V.Gaines, the bump is now Hammonds with a 7.041.
Left Lane: Larry Peternel Runs 7.248/188.41, Now #30; Best prior run: 7.270/188.81, Was #30
Right Lane: Carl Beal Runs 9.754/94.02, Now #31; Best prior run: 19.003/66.32, Was #33
Peternel with his quickest pass this season, but still way off the pace. Beal shuts off early.
Left Lane: Ed Heck Runs 9.310/97.24, Now #30; Best prior run: 7.150/192.06, Was #29
Right Lane: Darrell Alderman Runs 6.991/196.56, Now #3; Best prior run: 15.236/80.07, Was #33
Heck was out of the groove early and shut it off. Alderman made the big jump and out goes Hammonds. The bump is now Allen Johnson with a 7.037 second pass..
Left Lane: Hurley Blakeney Runs 7.533/140.56, Now #28; Best prior run: 7.130/194.55, Was #28
Right Lane: Gary Wiggins Runs 7.138/193.07, Now #29; Best prior run: 7.132/193.02, Was #29
Blakeney made a move toward the centerline. Wiggins drove it on through, but for no help.
Left Lane: Danny Coffman Runs 6.999/195.05, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.118/194.55, Was #27
Right Lane: Robert Patrick Runs 7.027/195.79, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.077/194.86, Was #23
Coffman made a move toward the wall, but he reeled it in and jumped into the top half of the show. Coffman with the sponsorship from the Million Dollar Bracket Drag Race.
Left Lane: Roger Jenkins Runs 7.020/194.72, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.113/193.63, Was #27
Right Lane: Kenny Koretsky Runs 7.007/196.07, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.056/194.94, Was #24
A couple more join the field bumping out Stevens and Troy Coughlin for now.
Left Lane: Bruce Allen Runs 6.967/196.73, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.111/193.49, Was #27
Right Lane: Brad Klein Runs 7.026/196.85, Now #17; Best prior run: 7.052/195.76, Was #24
Allen after not qualifying in Reading two weeks ago jumped into the number two spot with a great looking pass. Klein with a good looking pass and just misses the bump.
Left Lane: Gordie Rivera Runs 7.131/193.46, Now #27; Best prior run: 7.095/193.96, Was #27
Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 7.031/195.28, Now #20; Best prior run: 7.047/195.11, Was #24
Rivera made a move toward the centerline and fought to keep it in his lane. Gaines made a move in the right direction, but not enough.
Left Lane: Tom Martino Runs 7.002/196.27, Now #9; Best prior run: 7.055/195.70, Was #26
Right Lane: Tom Hammonds Runs 7.020/196.59, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.041/195.14, Was #24
Martino spun the tires right off the starting line, but drove it through for the number nine spot. Hammonds got back in the show with that pass.
Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Runs 6.981/196.76, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.033/195.73, Was #23
Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 7.000/196.19, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.037/195.28, Was #25
A couple more join the field, bumping out Krisher and Hammonds.

Stevens with a great short time, but can't run it on through the back half. He still went from the outside of the show to the number four spot. Morgan got off the bump.

Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.966/198.00, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.010/197.02, Was #17
Two more from the outside of the show to the top half of the field. The bump is now Geoffrion with the 7.005 second pass.

Krisher with a 1.005 60-foot time and just drove it out the back door to take the number one spot.

Smith got in the show with this pass bumping out Allen Johnson. Coffman is on the bump now.

Marnell was real loose using up all the lane, but still making a move in the right direction. Yates with good looking pass.

Right Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.961/197.88, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.953/197.36, Was #2
Jeg was not as impressive as Krisher off the starting line, but had the big horsepower to take away the number one spot. That bumps Warren back to the number three spot. Coffman stayed on the bump with a 6.999 second pass.
