CLERMONT, Ind. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Bike at the 2000 Holley Pro Stock Dominator Duel:

12:04 PM Ayers is in as an alternate for Dave Schultz, who is recovering from cancer surgery - and is here expressing his confidence he'll beat it. Ayers is no match for Treble today.

In a rematch of the Brainerd final round, Team 23 teammates meet in the first round of the Duel. The race was determined at the starting line, the two bikes running almost identical laps, the margin of victory = 0.004 seconds (approximately 13 inches).

Johnson is no longer "the world's quickest hi-lighter," now sporting black and orange K&N Filters colors. Johnson got a small advantage at the start, but Seeling was too quick on the rest of the run. She will have lane choice against Treble in the semifinals.

Hines led this one wire to wire, an easy win by a margin of victory = 0.098 seconds (approximately 25 feet). He will have lane choice against Brown in the semifinals, by 0.005 seconds.
