CORDOVA - Top Fuel Round 2 Eliminations

CORDOVA, Ill. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the 21st annual Amalie Motor Oil Summer Nationals:

Allison was thrashing as they they were pulling into the lanes. Litton apparently found out the what has been causing him problems all weekend. Litton was out of the gate first and clean all the way through the quarter mile. Allison started oiling the track around 400 feet.

After about a half an hour cleanup we are back in action. This a was a great drag race. Bailey left first, but Romine had caught by the 330-foot mark and just drove away from him from there.
