Right Lane: Bill Furr Runs 6.550/202.11, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.632/212.46, Was #5
1:32 PM Here we go with those nasty sounding Harley's. Stordeur unable to back up his e.t. record on this run. Two pretty decent passes.
Left Lane: Jim McClure No Time, Now #11; Best prior run: 29.769/18.28, Was #11
Right Lane: Mike Romine Runs 7.136/165.89, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.167/176.60, Was #10
McClure broke something in the driveline on the launch, hardly moving off the line. Romine off the pace a little bit.
Left Lane: Ray Price No Time, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.834/199.42, Was #6
Right Lane: Doug Vancil Runs 6.613/219.03, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.613/219.03, Was #5
Price broke off the line, coasting to a stop about 400 feet downtrack. Vancil unable to back up his speed record from Friday's session.
Left Lane: Allen Peterson No Time, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.864/180.32, Was #8
Right Lane: Jay Turner No Time, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.522/215.67, Was #2
Turner spit's out a primary belt immediately on launch, and stops on the track. Peterson was unable to start his bike.
Left Lane: Jack Romine Runs 9.307/93.84, Now #9; Best prior run: 7.007/200.93, Was #9
Right Lane: Johnny Mancuso Runs 8.981/97.99, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.565/212.26, Was #4
Both riders breaking something on the bikes right around half-track.
Right Lane: Bob Spina Runs 6.683/204.49, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.858/199.37, Was #7
Spina went into the sand traps at top end, but is OK. Not sure about the condition of the bike.
