DALLAS - FMD Driver Receives Minor Burns

ENNIS, Texas - Gerald Gossman, from Garden City, Kan., received minor burns when his Federal=Mogul dragster caught fire during a run in Friday's second qualifying session. Gossman, 38, was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital for observation. Gossman failed to q ualify for Saturday's eliminations.
