MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the 12th annual AutoZone Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Steve Johnson got a psychic light, but his tuneup was off a bit and Smith reeled him in to win by a margin of victory = 0.024 seconds (approximately 6 feet).

Arana broke during the final qualifying session and could not make the call. Hines makes an easy run and earns lane choice over Smith in round two.

Tonglet, like Johnson, gets a great light, but can't run the number and loses to a quicker opponent. Brown wins easily.

Camarena got the holeshot, but Schultz is starting to run the big numbers, like the old days. That gives him lane choice against Treble in round two.

Reuter draws the red bulb and the second Star Racing bike advances, losing lane choice to Brown by 0.002 seconds.

Final pair and the second "Team 23" rider is also the "No Bull" candidate here. He wins handily, by a margin of victory = 0.058 seconds (approximately 15 feet) and races Angelle next round, Angelle with lane choice.
