MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the 12th annual AutoZone Nationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Curt Woodward Runs 7.824/173.01, Now #1
Right Lane: Bruce Dickson Runs 8.595/149.56, Now #2

Left Lane: Fred Collis Runs 7.438/179.28, Now #1
Right Lane: Blaine Hale Runs 7.514/177.56, Now #2

Collis is driving for Star Racing.

Left Lane: Gary Tonglet Runs 7.517/176.28, Now #4
Right Lane: Angelle Seeling Runs 7.294/182.13, Now #1

Both bikes spun the tires off the line. Angelle was still able to make a great pass.

Left Lane: David Schultz Runs 7.308/183.79, Now #3
Right Lane: Matt Hines Runs 7.293/183.62, Now #1

Hines takes over the top spot for now.

Left Lane: Lori Francis Runs 26.544/26.47, Now #10
Right Lane: Brian Ayers Runs 7.503/176.65, Now #5

Francis leaves the line, bogs down and coasts through the lights.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.378/176.86, Now #4
Right Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.459/176.26, Now #6

Left Lane: Craig Treble Runs 7.366/179.76, Now #4
Right Lane: Ron Ayers Runs 7.465/178.40, Now #8

Treble makes a good run to get in the fourth spot.

Left Lane: Larry Cook Runs 7.414/180.16, Now #6
Right Lane: Greg Underdahl Runs 7.493/178.24, Now #10

Left Lane: Antron Brown Runs 7.393/182.01, Now #6
Right Lane: Chris Reuter Runs 7.483/177.67, Now #11

Both bikes make pretty good runs. The bump is at 7.824.

Left Lane: Fred Camarena Runs 7.604/176.88, Now #17
Right Lane: John Smith Runs 7.482/181.94, Now #11

Left Lane: Brian DeLong Runs 7.694/173.74, Now #18
Right Lane: C.J. Smith Runs 7.948/168.75, Now #20

Left Lane: Rob Korn Runs 10.254/82.18, Now #23
Right Lane: Tony Mullen Runs 7.368/180.07, Now #5

Korn has problems at half track and backs off the throttle. Good run by Mullen to get in at the fifth spot.

Left Lane: Hector Arana Runs 7.582/179.64, Now #18

Arana finishes out this round of qualifying but can't crack the field. Hines is on the pole and Hale is on the bump with a 7.514.
