This is a 7.60 second heads up breakout class. To show the variety of vehicles, Kirby is in the original Kay Sissel twin 250ci inline 6 cylinder dragster and Runyon has a short wheel base front engine blown small block Chevy. Runyon is away first, but can't hold off Kirby as the little dragster heads toward the guard rail and has to shut it down.

Margin of victory = 0.043 seconds (approximately 10 feet). A close one here, as Sanders uses his starting line advantage to take the win.

Larry Dixon Sr. was the number four qualifier and couldn't get the car to start. Anderson was ready as the alternate and jumped in to take his place. Both cars leave together and Cofer runs like he qualified to take the win.

Margin of victory = breakout. Smith is asleep too. He is able to catch Christlieb, but runs too quick.
