ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Federal-Mogul Funny Car at the Division One Event Six:

   (E Lourie    ) 0.475  6.002 232.51  E1   (J McCulloch ) 0.495  5.785 252.24
                  0.465  6.001 234.25  E2 *****WINNER***** 0.499  5.738 254.52
Mullins did his burnout and backed up slowly to the starting line as if he was trying to put off the inevitable. Mullins was actually ahead at 60 feet but unfortunately for him, there was another 1260 feet to go and Manzo stormed by him for the win.

Ferro broke in round one and was unable to make it to the second round. Newberry ran hard to try and win lane choice in the final round but he was unsuccessful and the choice will go to Manzo.
