Diehl did not make a qualifying pass yesterday in either session. His car drifted a bit to the left at 330 feet, then drifted a bit
to the right. Lindberg took his car straight down the groove to record his career best speed. This run was quick enough to move him
up nine spots in the qualifying order.
Left Lane: Tim Wilkerson Runs 3.960/327.03, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.942/329.50, Was #10
Right Lane: Mike Smith No Time, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.749/85.11, Was #16
Smith did his burnout and started to stage the car, then shut it off and was pushed back from the starting line. Wilkerson had a good run but was not quick enough to move up in the order.
Left Lane: Bob Tasca III Runs 4.147/239.36, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.937/318.77, Was #9
Right Lane: Jim Campbell Runs 4.064/309.27, Now #14; Best prior run: 4.177/301.87, Was #14
Both runs looked okay but neither was quick enough to have any effect on the order. Campbell's run was his quickest of the weekend so far. His car drifted toward the center line at the end of the track, but he got it straightened out.
Left Lane: Courtney Force Runs 5.717/118.62, Now #8; Best prior run: 3.935/321.88, Was #8
Right Lane: John Force Runs 4.458/193.35, Now #13; Best prior run: 3.978/324.12, Was #13

Left Lane: Jack Beckman Runs 4.527/186.67, Now #5; Best prior run: 3.914/330.55, Was #5
Right Lane: Cruz Pedregon Runs 10.342/80.03, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.963/321.35, Was #12
Pedregon's car launched and the rear tires went up in smoke right away. Beckman got a little bit farther down the track when his car smoked the rear tires too.
Left Lane: Alexis DeJoria Runs 3.946/327.43, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.914/328.70, Was #6
Right Lane: Tommy Johnson Jr. Runs 4.208/236.80, Now #11; Best prior run: 3.957/326.00, Was #11
Both drivers had good launched. Johnson got about 300 feet out when his car started to spin the rear tires, so he clicked it off. DeJoria ran her car down the groove but was not as quick as she was yesterday in the second session.
Left Lane: Matt Hagan Runs 3.927/334.65, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.874/335.82, Was #2
Right Lane: J.R. Todd Runs 4.611/179.30, Now #7; Best prior run: 3.929/326.87, Was #7
Todd had a good run going but smoked the rear tires from 660 feet until he clicked it off. Hagan had a good run but was not as quick as the second session yesterday.
Left Lane: Robert Hight Runs 3.883/333.58, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.844/339.02, Was #1
Right Lane: Ron Capps Runs 3.981/324.20, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.877/327.43, Was #3
Hight and Capps ran almost side-by-side down the track with a pair of good runs. Neither pass had an effect on the qualifying order. With 16 cars here, everyone is in the field for eliminations tomorrow but there will be one more chance to run for qualifying position in a couple of hours.
