In Division 1, the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour traveled to Maryland International Raceway for an event coupled with the Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series. In the sportsman categories, Travis Housh won his third Top Sportsman race of the season in the division, while reigning IHRA Quick Rod world champion John Dustin stepped over to take a win in Hot Rod.
