Waxahachie Downtown Merchants Association to Sponsor Breakfast

ENNIS, Texas --

Let's face it, if you have taken the time, effort and money to restore or maintain a classic Chevy or GM vehicle, you deserve to show off a bit every once in a while.

Texas Motorplex is providing the very best chance to do just that when the annual Super Chevy Show kicks off with a cruise from historic downtown Waxahachie with Super Chevy Magazine staff on Saturday, May 17. Cruisers will meet starting at 7 a.m. and will depart downtown by 7:50 a.m. to be at the track gates shortly after they open for all participants.

All pre-registered cruisers will receive a free Texas Motorplex window flag and will be allowed exclusive and instant VIP entrance through the gates of the Motorplex upon arrival. Anyone who joins the cruise but does not register in advance will join the regular line and pay the event fee at the gates as normal.

This will be the third consecutive year that Super Chevy Show will officially kick off with a cruise from downtown Waxahachie before the biggest Bowtie celebration takes place at Texas Motorplex.

Super Chevy Show is a celebration of one of America's most popular brands. The Motorplex will be filled with a car show, swap meet, car corral, kid's activities and of course, drag racing with the region's top bracket racers as well as other family-fun food and entertainment.

Getting to the Super Chevy Show is half the fun as all Chevy and GM vehicles are invited to line up around the Ellis County Courthouse and along Main Street in downtown Waxahachie. All cruisers will receive a goodie bag with special offers and discounts as well as coffee, juice and breakfast items.

As always, Super Chevy Magazine staffers will be on site to take photos and video of the cruise. Texas Motorplex staff will also escort the cruisers onto Highway 287 for the short trip to the Motorplex.
