BAYTOWN, Texas - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 27th annual O'Reilly NHRA SpringNationals presented by Super Start Batteries:

Force is 1 - 0 against Torrence in prior events. Force is out of the gate first, but was up in smoke as soon as she hit the throttle and pedaled it, but can't get it to recover. Torrence gets out about the 330-foot mark and he starts to smoke the tires. He gets real loose and pedals it a couple times getting real close to the centerline. He keeps it in his lane and takes the win. He will give up lane choice to alBalooshi in the semifinal.
