Jessie Rothenberger Wins First Universal Technical Institute Jr. Dragster Meet of the 2014 Season

It's official: Jessie Rothenberger of Glenmoore, Pa., is the first winner of the 2014 season at Maple
Grove Raceway. Rothenberger scored the Universal Technical Institute Jr. Dragster Series win on the
starting line when her opponent, Kyle Robb of Denver, Pa., "red-lit" (fouled) during the final round
To reach the final, Jessie defeated Ryan Wruble in the first round, Hollie Ray Bausher in the second,
Amber Bell in the third and Matthew Witkowski in the semi-final.
To face Rothenberger in the final, Robb defeated Gabrielle Walleigh in the first round, Brian O'Brien
in the second, Jamie Rothenberger in the third and Ranae Nyce in the semi-final.
FINAL-ROUND RESULTS (1/8-mile):
Winner: Jessie Rothenberger (Glenmoore, Pa.) .033 7.995 sec./83.12 mph.
Runner-up: Kyle Robb (Denver, Pa.) -.017 (foul) 7.883 sec./82.39 mph.
