The Funny Car Nationals is Back

Make your plans for Memorial Day Weekend this year. On Sunday, May 25th 2014 the Pace Performance
Great Lakes Funny Car Nationals & Nostalgia Classic makes its debut at Quaker City Motorsports Park
in Salem, Ohio.
Running together with the popular Nostalgia Classic event at QCMP, the new event will be highlighted
with some of the best thundering, side-by-side racing of classic flip-top, fiberglass funny cars from
drag racing's glory days. Come out to see favorite models such as the Camaro, 'Cuda, Mustang, Trans
Am, and other unique representations of Detroit's finest. It's the best from the past blasting down
the quarter mile.
Beyond the Nostalgia Funny Cars there will be dozens of wheel-standing Gassers along with the
Southern Slingshots front engine dragster group in attendance. Also appearing will be the Time
Bandit blown nitro front engine dragster, the Green Monster, Tim Arfons' front jet-engine dragster is
a must see and a host of hot rods from UMTR and the Nostalgic Notions club.
