This is a rematch of the final Funny Car race of 2013, that was won by Hagan. He has a 10-14 win/loss record in final rounds to date. Force has a 138-87 record and has won here at Pomona six times before. This will be his sixth final round appearance in a row. The last time he did that was in the 1996 season. Hagan is 9 - 8 against Force in prior events and Hagan is 3 - 2 against Force in prior final rounds.

JFR vs. DSR in the final round.

It's quickly over, as Hagan shakes and spins right off the line after a great head start.

The Prock Rocket was ready for anything and powers on by Hagan right after the sixty foot lights and flies on down the track on a near perfect run to reset the National ET Record, running close to his best speed to boot. John Force is ready for 2014.

John Force's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.033), 330 ft(0.697), 660ft(1.452). MOV: 2.5861 seconds (more than 100 feet).

John Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.885 sec., 330ft-2.263, 660ft-3.207/274.27 mph.
