Hight is 8 - 7 against Hagan in prior events and 6-2 in round two.

Hole shot win! Hagan gets a 0.007 advantage off the line and just stays ahead of a slightly quicker Hight for the win. That gives him the new National Record for speed record.

Worsham is 21 - 12 against Densham in prior events and 4-4 in round two.

Worsham is away first and never headed. Densham makes another strong pass, but has the Charger drive steadily towards the center line, dipping into Worsham's lane after the 1000 foot lights.

Hagan will have lane choice in round three.

Great race! Force has the better RT and runs just 0.001 quicker for the win. Big MPH for both cars. His big speed will reset the National Record again.

Capps is 15 - 7 against Tasca III in prior events and 5 -2 in round two.

Capps gets away first and is pulling steadily ahead until right before the 660 lights. The engine starts to drop cylinders and the Charger makes a dead right turn towards the wall. He horses the wheel over hard and just tags the wall with the headers.

Tasca was there to make a race of it with his best ET and speed of the weekend. Great numbers, but he still gives up lane choice to Force in round three

Bob Tasca III's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.021), 330 ft(-0.013), 660ft(0.057). MOV: 0.3338 seconds (more than 100 feet).
