POMONA, Calif. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 49th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed this round, amount over/under index this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time, speed & over/under Index, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Ross Wilson Runs 8.518/137.01/-0.232, Now #14; C/SM Index: 8.75, Prior Best: 8.196/166.11/-0.554, Was #14
Right Lane: Ryan Warter Runs 8.744/154.58/-0.516, Now #10; H/A Index: 9.26, Prior Best: 8.675/150.95/-0.585, Was #10

DePalma has a good leave and then drives slowly down the track.

Lane finds the weather to his liking and picks up two spots on the ladder.

Hedlund finally gets a full pass and it's a good one. All the way up to the number nine spot.

Hugger improves too. In to the sixty under range and up one spot to number eight.

Clean pass for Huhtala to ensure his number one spot.

Ellis' Frank Parks built altered makes another strong leave and then lifts before the lights. Judging for CIC's in round one??
