BAYTOWN, Texas - Results of round 1 eliminations in Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Mod at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, World Finals IX:

Patrick did all he could do, leaving first and running his best ET of the event., But Vettel retaliated with a career-best run and he got the win light. Ouch! After carefully staging this matchup, Harvey pulled the trigger two thousandths early and Jimmy Keen clinched the championship.

Tindle went red, then Savell trailed a lot of smoke when he lifted at the stripe. Savell will not have lane choice against Janes in round two.
