Left Lane: Todd Martin Runs 3.667/207.91, Now #1
Right Lane: Brandon Pesz Runs 4.020/161.67, Now #2
11:15 a.m. They are running into a headwind right now, that wll slow them down a bit.
Martin went right down the track. Pesz had to backpedal to get through tire shake about 100 feet out after a stout 60-foot time.

Brandon Pesz's incremental times: 60ft-0.902 sec., 330ft-2.575.
Left Lane: Terry Leggett Runs 3.657/210.70, Now #1
Right Lane: Monte Grace Runs 6.540/154.25, Now #4
Grace's Superbird spun the tires and almost stalled. He pedaled, shook, then drove it through. Meanwhile, Leggett made a season-best run and he's #1 for the time being.
Terry Leggett's incremental times: 60ft-0.946 sec., 330ft-2.478.
Left Lane: Mike Recchia Runs 3.622/211.59, Now #1
Right Lane: Brandon Snider Runs 3.744/195.70, Now #4
Recchia goes to #1 with a career-best effort, both ET and speed. Snider was enroute to an even better ET, quicker to 330 feet, but his car was right of the groove and very close to the wall, losing some time when he steered it back to the groove.
Mike Recchia's incremental times: 60ft-0.936 sec., 330ft-2.451.
Brandon Snider's incremental times: 60ft-0.926 sec., 330ft-2.445.
Left Lane: Gaylen Smith Runs 3.823/195.51, Now #6
Right Lane: Jason Scruggs Runs 3.527/218.34, Now #1
Scruggs raised some eyebrows with high 215 and mid-216 speeds in testing and the team changed converters last night. Wow! The numbers speak for themselves - it's the quickest 330-foot (we think) and shatters the existing records. But the backup will be tough, 3.562 seconds and 216.16 mph!

Left Lane: Bubba Stanton Runs 3.627/211.53, Now #3
Right Lane: Mick Snyder Runs 3.699/209.82, Now #6
Good runs, both lanes, but after Scruggs' run we are jaded.

Mick Snyder's incremental times: 60ft-0.957 sec., 330ft-2.516.
Left Lane: Von Smith Runs 3.724/210.41, Now #7
Right Lane: Wesley Jones Runs 3.948/189.39, Now #10
Jones shook, headed for the centerline, and successfully backpedaled to save the run. Smith didn't have any obvious problems, "only a low seventy."
Left Lane: John Stanley Runs 3.703/202.00, Now #7
Right Lane: Danny Lowry Runs 4.663/124.08, Now #13
Stanley went right down the groove. Lowry's car was smoking from the front end, possibly a turbo problem.

Left Lane: Tim Tindle Runs 6.265/100.11, Now #15
Right Lane: Alex Hossler Runs 3.585/214.86, Now #2
Hossler made the second-best run of the round, puts him second for now, but Frankie Taylor is right behind him. Tindle shook and slowed immediately.
Alex Hossler's incremental times: 60ft-0.909 sec., 330ft-2.426.
Left Lane: Joey Martin Runs 10.864/35.53, Now #18
Right Lane: Frankie Taylor Runs 3.623/208.94, Now #4
Martin shook and banged the blower. Taylor made a good run, but there was a spray of fluid over the top of the car, probably a fuel leak. Martin's supercharger was sitting cockeyed after the run, laying against the windshield.

Left Lane: Tommy D'Aprile Runs 3.692/208.23, Now #8
Right Lane: Randell Reid Runs 6.800/103.31, Now #19
Reid had a fuel line leak that resulted in a fire that burned the front end and both doors off the car during testing last week in Tulsa. Larry Jeffers and his shop crew worked overtime to rebuild the car so Reid could be here.
Reid's car broke the wheelie bars and the car turned hard left on the launch. He caught it and didn't hit anything. D'Aprile made a clean run, right down the groove.
Left Lane: Don Wooten Runs 3.819/196.36, Now #13
Wooten ran some ADRL events a few years back. He shook, pedaled, and finished the run.
