10:02 a.m. - Hopefully, we've seen the last rain for the weekend. It is cooler and conditions should be excellent for the rest of the event.
Jimmy Keen's 3.874 is the number to beat for the #1 spot.
Myers shook immediately, turned left, and lifted. Sackuvick avoided the shake demons and made a nice run.
Left Lane: Jeffrey Cummins Jr Runs 7.049/67.74, Now #10
Right Lane: Tim Savell Runs 5.099/117.84, Now #8
Cummins shook, pedaled, shook, and pedaled again. Savell didn't appear to shake or backpedal, but his car was sluggish at the start, with a 1.18 60-foot time.
Left Lane: Khalid Balooshi Runs 4.337/129.74, Now #8
Right Lane: Joshua Vettel Runs 11.858/33.77, Now #12
Vettel shook and then the engine shut down. Balooshi is transitioning to fuel injection and this was a planned short run, shutting off before the 330-foot marker. His 0.950 60-foot time should bring some smiles.

Right Lane: Johnny Pilcher Runs 4.024/183.49, Now #6
Harvey shook and the engine shut off, the car coasting to a stop before the finish line. He got the car fired again and drove it off the track. Meanwhile, Pilcher made a "full pull."

Right Lane: Robert Patrick Runs 5.092/100.67, Now #10
Both cars shook, both drivers pedaled, neither had much success.
