Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car Round 1 Competition

MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Amsoil Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car at the 2013 Nitro Jam Series, IHRA Memphis Nitro Jam Day Two:

7:16 p.m. Halstead gets off the line first and starts to pull away. Jacobsmeyer was falling back all the way through the run then the car noses over about 800 feet out and he backs off the throttle. Halstead makes his quickest pass of the weekend but had problems late in the run. He hangs on for the win and moves into the finals for the second night in a row.

Gallen leaves the line, drifts to the right, but gets the car back toward the groove and makes his quickest pass of the weekend. Minick was moving early in the run but still made a decent pass.

In the next round it will be Minick vs. Jacobsmeyer and Gallen vs. Halstead for the championship.
