Pesz launched, the car shook, he pedaled and finished the run. Lowry was all over his lane, but stayed in his own lane until after the finish line.

Martin's car lurched at the green, rolled about car length and stopped, the blower belt broken.
Taylor made a strong run, almost getting into the fifties on a straight run.

Tindle will face Pesz in the next qualifying session to determone the St. Louis winner. Pesz hasn't gotten down the track in two tries, not has Tindle. Might be a pedaling contest.
Tutterow made a pretty good pass, ran out of steam on the top end.
