MORRISON, Colo. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 34th annual Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals:

Schumacher is 25 - 8 against Vandergriff in prior events. Vandergriff is out of the gate first and never trailed for the win. Vandergriff started dropping cylinders during the run, but held on for the win. Schumacher was dropping cylinders right at the hit and apparently the car was spraying some oil and Schumacher will get a 10 point penalty.

Massey is 12 - 2 against Langdon in prior events. Massey with the slight starting line advantage, but Langdon had the lead when they went by the Christmas tree, but Massey gets the lead back at half track and holds on for the win. Spencer Massey's MOV: 0.0105 seconds (approximately 5 feet). Massey will have lane choice in the final over Vandergriff.
