NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 3 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Seventh annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

V. Smith and R. Smith have each won 1 times against the other in prior events. V. smith with the starting line advantage and the lead until about 400 feet where R. smith was able to chase him down. Rickie Smith's MOV: 0.0488 seconds (approximately 17 feet). Rickie Smith is going to his second final round this year and fifth of his career.

This is the first time Castellana and Tindle have faced each other in eliminations. Castellana with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Castellana will give up lane choice to R. Smith in the final. Castellana goes to his ninth career final round and his first this year.
