NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 3 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Seventh annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

This is the first time Noakes and Tigges have faced each other in eliminations.

Noakes had problems when he fired the car and could not make a pass. Tigges gets the freebie and just takes it easy all the way through the run.

Manzo is 2 - 0 against Hool in prior events.

Manzo struck the tires off the line, then went into tire shake before giving up on the run. Hool went right down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

Hool will have lane choice over Tigges in the final round.
