NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Seventh annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

Simonton gets off the line first, makes her quickest pass of the weekend, but Manzo runs low ET of the event and drives around for the win.

This is the first time Pomponio and Hool have faced each other in eliminations.

Pomponio gets a big advantage off the line, stayed in front for the first half of the run, but drifted close to the centerline. Hool drove around him at half track and pulled away for the win.

Manzo will have lane choice over Hool in round three.

This is the first time Noakes and Bohl have faced each other in eliminations.

Bohl rattles the tires pretty hard off the line, gets about 400 feet out and bangs the blower. Noakes shook the tires a little but drove through it and pulled away for the win.
