MARTIN, Mich. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Mod at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, ADRL Summer Drags IX:

12:39 p.m. Janis' car turned into a bucking bronco on the launched, with two or three violent lurches. By then, Matos was long-gone.

Lutz had a big holeshot, then Martin had to backpedal to get through shake and the race was over.

King got off the starting line first, but Keen had the muscle to take that back in the first 60 feet and pull away for the win.

Jimmy Keen's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.018), 330 ft(0.055). MOV: 0.0330 seconds (approximately 9 feet).

Identical, great lights and Lang had the early lead. Then his car started dancing over toward the wall and he had to lift to stay off the concrete.

Higginbotham sawed the tree down, then Savell's car took dead aim on the 330-foot timing reflector and sent it sailing.

Higginbotham races Harvey in round two, Harvey has lane choice.

Matusek left first, but Flamholc had most of the difference made up in the first 60 feet, then he pulled away for the win.

Flamholc will have lane choice against Keen in round two.

Gondziola went red and that was a big break for Rivenbark because his car kept going into tire shake. He pedaled it at least three times to get it to the stripe. Rivenbark faces Lutz in round two, Lutz has lane choice.

Hamstra had a hundredth in hand at the green, but his car got the front end up and the rear tires were shaking. Smith made a clean, straight run and will have lane choice against Matos in round two.
