Matusek's car made a sharp move toward the centerline about 200 feet out and he had to lift. No lifting for Matos, a hard charge rigth down the groove.

Higginbotham's car was a little loose and a little left of the groove. Savell made his second solid run of the day, this one not quite as quick as the first.

Bell never got fully staged. Hamstra made a hard charge, then got sideways and lifted.
