Pro Extreme Motorcycle Round 1 Eliminations

PETERSBURG, Va. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Extreme Motorcycle at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, Simply Phones U.S. Drags VI:

  426 Brunson Grothus                       366 Mantez Thompson

Grothus had a nice holeshot and led past half track, but Thompson ran him down on the top end for the win.

Mantez Thompson's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.038), 330 ft(-0.003). MOV: 0.0072 seconds (approximately 21 inches).

Teasley had the better light, but Owens had a big lead by the time they got to the 330-foot marker and won going away.

Collins also had a nice advantage at the green, but Norris was too quick for him and won handily.

Davis had a nice holeshot, then Schnitz's bike, in as an alternate for Jack Young, bike bobbled a bit on the launch and it was never close after that.

Procopio had a small holeshot, then the two were welded together the rest of the way, Ronald Procopio's MOV: 0.0186 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

Procopio faces Owens in round 2, Owens has lane choice.

These two left right together and they were side-by-side all the way down the track.

Dave Vantine's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.003), 330 ft(-0.017). MOV: 0.0006 seconds (approximately 2 inches).

Vantine will not have lane choice against Davis in round 2.
