CORDOVA, Ill. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Extreme Motorcycle at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, Spring Drags IV presented by Curry's Transportation Services listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

5:29 p.m. Tyler Wilson is on the bump spot at 4.367.

Fisher improved on this run, but it sounded like he had a shifter problem on the top end of the run.

Norris made his slowest run of the day.

Left Lane: Jack Young Runs 4.236/165.46, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.239/165.13, Was #7

Two straight, smooth runs.

Right Lane: Terry Schweigert Runs 4.145/168.89, Now #3; Best prior run: 4.154/169.59, Was #3

Stemper finally got a full pass, moved up a few spots. Schweigert made a nice pass, his best of the day.

Left Lane: Dave Vantine Runs 4.273/164.65, Now #5; Best prior run: 4.168/161.11, Was #5
Right Lane: Charlie Prophit Runs 5.623/81.67, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.432/127.32, Was #10

Prophit's engine gave out a loud BANG in the middle of the run and he coasted through.

Right Lane: Ashley Owens No Time, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.093/172.36, Was #2

Owens' bike drifted left and he took out the finish line reflectors, then bounced off the wall at the gate opening. He was reported to be "fine," but bike may be damaged.

Right Lane: Tyler Wilson Runs 4.935/106.94, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.367/165.56, Was #9

After a quick cleanup, racing resumed with the only Buell on the entry list. He needed to beat Young's 4.236, but his engine went sour about halfway through the run and he will not be on the ladder (but the ADRL does use alternates).

Right Lane: Brunson Grothus Runs 4.219/162.98, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.227/166.37, Was #7

Grothus made his best run of the day, stayed seventh.
