Pfeister has problems again, making a move to the
right, then collecting the timing blocks at half track. Harvanek finally gets down the track and gets in the show in the
sixth spot, bumping out Pfeister.

Right Lane: Todd Robertson No Time, Now #11; No Prior Run
Robertson got out of the groove, drifted to the left taking out the timing blocks at the end of the track. Butler was behind Robertson so does not receive a time for this run.
Left Lane: John Bojec Runs 10.588/79.48, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.013/244.47, Was #7
Right Lane: Dale Brand Runs 6.300/167.59, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.980/119.55, Was #10
Bojec has traction problems early, gets about 200 feet out and backs off the throttle. Brand gets to half track, has problems and the engine goes silent.
Left Lane: Andy Bohl Runs 5.638/257.68, Now #2; Best prior run: 5.623/258.91, Was #2
Right Lane: Kevin Newburgh Runs 6.277/162.27, Now #5; Best prior run: 5.767/248.80, Was #5
Newburgh starts drifting to the left early, gets close to the centerline, then backs off the throttle about 1000' out. Bohl makes another clean, straight pass.
Left Lane: Frank Manzo Runs 5.523/262.95, Now #1; Best prior run: 5.551/262.90, Was #1
Right Lane: Chris Foster Runs 5.754/254.62, Now #4; Best prior run: 5.683/255.39, Was #4
No traction problems for Manzo on this pass, right down the groove with the quickest pass of the weekend to improve on his number one qualifying time. Foster makes a clean pass but can't improve.
