Left Lane: Harold Martin No Time, Now #17; No Prior Run
Weather conditions: air temperature 66 degrees, relative humidity 28 percent, barometer 29.46 inches, adjusted altitude 1,311 feet, track temperature 107 degrees.
Martin was on a good
pass until he started drifting out of the groove toward the centerline. He collected the 1000-foot
timing blocks and will not get a time. He will not get in the show.

Knowles start to shake right off the starting line and pedaled it but couldn't get it to hook up and clicked it off. Winters shook and pedaled it and then shook again and pedaled it one more time before he clicked it off.

Castellana launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Mike Castellana's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.615, 660ft-3.903/193.07 mph, 1,000ft-5.006. McCurdy shook right off the starting line and pedaled it, but will not improve.

Lang with a great pass as he was straight down the groove to the number one spot. Kenny Lang's incremental times: 60ft-0.973 sec., 330ft-2.642, 660ft-3.932/194.49 mph, 1,000ft-5.020. Matusek started to drift toward the centerline, but reeled it in and stayed with it to move up the ladder.
