Tony Pedregon unveils a new design for the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte this weekend as he
partners with WIXR Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands.
WIX will serve as the primary sponsor for Pedregon's Toyota Funny Car at Mello Yello Drag Racing
events later this year in Chicago, Seattle and Pomona as well.
"WIX Filters has been very supportive of our team and of the sport of drag racing," said Pedregon.
"Our audience will be glad to know that the best performing and most reliable filter company in the
world is set to hit the track for the exciting Four-Wide event."
"WIX is looking forward to another action-packed season of NHRA racing with Team Pedregon," said
Mike Harvey, brand manager for WIX Filters. "The Mello Yello Drag Racing Series is one of the most
popular forms of racing and serving as the primary at four races known for enthusiastic crowds,
including zMAX Dragway this weekend, offers us a great platform to highlight the WIX brand."
The WIX team will be in Charlotte for 4th annual Dollar General NHRA Four-Wide Nationals April 19-
21. Pedregon hopes to get back in form at a track hailed as the Bellagio of drag strips.
