The stands are packed here for the start of alcohol eliminations, thanks to a free ticket giveaway that put plenty of fans in the stands.
Neither driver had a great reaction time but Shields shook and smoked the rear tires coming off the starting line, He pedaled it but
it was already too late and Morris was long gone by then.

Meyer did not have a great run but he made ti down the track and got the win.

Finke was in a new car for this race.
This time, both drivers smoked the tired out of the gate. Mercier pedaled once and got the car hooked up to take the win. Finke
smoked it, pedaled, got back on the throttle, then the car got loose and he had to click it off. Mercier will meet Morris in the
next round and Morris will have lane choice.

Kanick got out of the gate first and was leading the race to mid track, when his car did a wheelstand. He stayed on the throttle but Page got by him to take the win. Page will have lane choice over Meyer in round two.
