LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 14th annual SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.697/207.53, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.697/207.27, Was #8
Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.694/207.72, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.651/207.98, Was #1

Anderson matches his earlier qualifying time. Edwards with another good pass, but will not improve. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-1.025 sec., 330ft-2.827, 660ft-4.324/164.55 mph, 1,000ft-5.612.
Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-1.021 sec., 330ft-2.830, 660ft-4.326/165.05 mph, 1,000ft-5.611.

Left Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.701/206.99, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.697/206.54, Was #9
Right Lane: Erica Enders-Stevens Runs 6.688/207.05, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.675/206.89, Was #4

Johnson with his quickest pass of the weekend to move ahead of his teammate to the number two spot. No help here for Coughlin.

Jones launched hard and keep it hooked up and ran the second quickest pass of the round to go to the number four spot. Hartford with his quickest pass of the weekend to go to the number 13 spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-1.001 sec., 330ft-2.812, 660ft-4.325/162.92 mph, 1,000ft-5.628.

Right Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.709/205.29, Now #12; No Prior Run

Gray with problems and pushed in the clutch early. Stanfield with his quickest pass of the weekend to go to the number 12 spot. Greg Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.992 sec., 330ft-2.799, 660ft-4.310/163.24 mph, 1,000ft-5.611.
