Track temp is up to 105 degrees, it's quite a bit warmer than it was yesterday. Once again Creasy finds traction hard to come by just past the tree.

Force's very talented crew chiefs evidently circled the wagons to troubleshoot and try to figure out what his Funny Car needs and wants, and lend Mike Neff a hand - Looks like it paid off!

2:30 p.m. After a cleanup - Ron & Courtney are refired, and we're back underway. Courtney runs .05 quicker than her dad - Capps had issues at about the same spot on the track as many other teams have had so far this round.
