1:55 p.m. Rivenbark broke in the first round, got the repairs done to answer the staging call for round two. However, something broke when they cranked the engine to fire it to make the burnout, leaving a large puddle of oil in the area where they fire the cars.

Hance hasn't made a full pass yet this weekend. That didn't change on this "competition bye" run. The car started shaking the tires and turned left, so he lifted.

Lang's car had the front wheels up and started shaking the tires, the car heading for the centerline. He had to lift, giving Howard an easy win on another mid-3.90s run.

Matos beat Smith at his own game, nailing Smith to the tree to win on a holeshot. Raymond Matos' incremental margins: 60ft(0.048), 330 ft(0.046). MOV: 0.0124 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

Matos will have lane choice when he faces Hance in the semifinals.

Linton tried to get a holeshot win of his own, but Flamholc was just too quick and Linton's car didn't have the muscle to hold him off.

Flamholc will have lane choice against Howard in the semifinals.
